Find A Grave

My new favorite genealogy website is www.findagrave.com. I'm pretty sure I am late to the party as there are 36 MILLION graves listed.

My best find so far, is B. H. Shamblin. He is my husband's great-grandfather's brother. With the date of death and cemetery info, I was able to order the death certificate from the state of Tennessee. Hoping for info on B.H.'s parents.

Hi, Amy! I came across your blog while just goofing around on the internet. My maiden name is Leachman and I grew up in Odenville, AL (about 30 min NE of B'ham and about 30 min the other way from Anniston). I'm sure we are related some how.

Hi Amy! I hope you're still around, as you have some of my family listed here. I am the 5th "greats" grand daughter of William Jackson Griffith. I should be specific, since there are like 5,000 of them in this line. Mine would be the W.J. who married Catherine Sigmon/Sigmund. I am descended from his son Thomas. I'd love to share what I have found so far for them. :)
